Outstanding Boards of Education Award

The Outstanding Boards of Education Awards Program is Under Construction!!

The MSBA Outstanding Boards of Education Awards (OBOE) will not be awarded in 2012 as the Board Development Committee and MSBA staff work to revise the award process. The MSBA Board of Directors (BOD) approved the revision process in its April meeting. The new OBOE will be based on the core components of the Vision Missouri Project, and each award will be criterion-based with specific rubrics created to score each application written to the criteria. The document below outlines the revision process and the rationale that supports the BOD decision.

The criteria will be presented at the 2012 MSBA/MASA Fall Conference, and the rubrics will be developed soon after. Award information and applications will be available in the spring of 2013. Please keep tuned for the latest developments!
